Directly in front of your door, the lively Fläckefasnacht in Beromünster takes over the historic village centre with parades, traditional Guggen music, children’s events, and wild street parties – especially on Dirty Thursday and Fasnacht Saturday. Just a short bus or car ride away is the famous Lucerne Fasnacht, one of Switzerland’s biggest carnivals. It begins with the legendary “Urknall” at 5 a.m., followed by spectacular parades and Guggen performances all over the city.
