House Rules
To ensure a smooth and pleasant stay for everyone and to keep the apartment nice and clean, we kindly ask you to follow these house rules:
1. Maximum Occupancy
The maximum occupancy is 4 persons plus one infant in a separately provided baby cot. Overnight stays by unregistered guests are not permitted.
2. Careful Use of Furniture and the Apartment
Please treat the furniture and all furnishings with care. Report any damages or defects as soon as possible so we can repair them quickly – for the benefit of all guests.
3. Parking
You will receive a parking permit (found in the kitchen upon arrival), which allows free parking on the public parking spaces directly in front of the apartment (in accordance with the municipal parking plan of Beromünster). Please return the parking permit and the plan to the kitchen before check-out for the next guests.
In case of loss, we will charge CHF 40.00. Parking spaces 1–4 around the house and in front of the southern façade are reserved for long-term residents. Brief stopping for loading and unloading in front of the house is permitted.
4. Electric Vehicle Charging
There is no charging station available for this apartment (WHG 02). Please use the public charging stations in Beromünster.
5. No Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the entire apartment and building (including e-cigarettes and vaping). Open flames and candles are not allowed. Smoking is only permitted outdoors. Please use weatherproof ashtrays and dispose of cigarette butts safely.
In case of violation, we reserve the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of CHF 500.–.
6. Liability Disclaimer
We assume no liability for injuries, losses, or damages to persons, property, or vehicles belonging to our guests. You are responsible for the safe storage of your valuables.
7. Pets are not allowed.
Due to the extensive renovation of this historic building and the new, high-quality interior, we regret that we cannot accommodate dogs or other pets.
8. Waste Disposal
Please separate glass (container located in the kitchen cupboard under the oven) and dispose of household waste properly. Do not flush items that could damage the sewage system (e.g. wet wipes, hygiene products) down the toilet.
9. Safety
Please observe all safety regulations (e.g. do not tamper with the smoke alarm). Emergency contacts are clearly displayed in the hallway. A fire extinguisher (in the toilet) and a fire blanket (in the drawer above the bin) are provided in the apartment. Vandalism or misuse of facilities will not be tolerated and may result in legal and financial consequences. Please report any unusual incidents immediately.
10. Keys and Access
Access is via keyless self check-in using a smart lock (Nuki). You are liable for any damage to the locking system and for lost keys (including the laundry room key). When leaving the apartment (even briefly), please pull the front door shut properly – it locks automatically.
11. Access to Private Areas
The apartment has its own separate entrance. Access to other areas of the building (except those clearly designated) is not permitted.
12. Garden Seating Area
From 1 April 2026, the apartment will have its own private garden seating area. Please use only this area – all other outdoor spaces are reserved for long-term residents. A site plan showing the location of your seating area is displayed in the hallway.
13. Sports Equipment
Storage of sports equipment (e.g. bicycles) inside the apartment is not permitted. Please use the designated areas (see site plan in the apartment).
14. Removal of Items
Removing furniture, furnishings, or equipment from the apartment is not allowed.
15. Quiet Hours
Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am so as not to disturb the neighbours. Noise levels must not exceed 60 dB(A) (equivalent to normal conversation volume).
16. Temperature Control
The heating is preset to 21°C during the day and 18°C at night. Please do not change the settings without prior consultation.
